För Design by björk är hållbarhet en viktig del av verksamheten. Likväl som ur ett miljömässigt perspektiv så är den ekonomiska och sociala hållbarheten något som vi håller högt.
Alla våra produkter är tillverkade med ett fokus på hållbarhet. Hållbarhet för dig som konsument dvs att kläderna ska hålla länge men även utifrån ett miljöperspektiv. Vi strävar efter att våra textilier ska ha någon form av miljömärkning dvs GOTS, eco, Öcotex osv eller ingå i en recyklingkedja.
Jämlikhet och inkludering är viktigt för oss. Vi designar och producerar plagg utifrån alla människors lika värde för att just du som är rullstolsburen ska kunna klä dig bekvämt, stilrent och modernt.
I vår värdekedja är alla våra samarbetspartners centrala. Det gör att våra produkter prissätts så att samtliga som bidrar till slutprodukten skall få skäliga löner och ha fungerande och bra arbetsförhållanden.

Unique design
The trousers have a unique design, are based on the needs of the target group, and have been developed in dialogue with the individuals themselves. The clothing is patented, as we know that our products are good quality, desirable and unique.
- A more roomy shape for the behind and higher at the back so that the trousers sit at the waist and don’t slide down
- Lower at the front so that they sit well round the waist and less fabric pinching round the stomach
- Hooks and Velcro instead of buttons and zips means they are easy to fasten and soft
- Pockets on the lower leg or thigh where you can store your mobile or wallet
- Some of the trousers have lining in the legs from the thigh downwards, which is great in cold weather
- Pleats at the knees mean the trousers are easier to put on, and sit better when the legs are bent

Trousers from design by björk are based on the garment being stylish, sit comfortably on the body and work well when sitting.
DENIM CARE
Sustainability has been central for us in the development of design by björk and is naturally involved in all processes, from our choice of suppliers and materials to informing you as our customer how you take care of your garments so they last for a long time
Do not wash your clothes more often than necessary, but ventilate them outdoors to refresh them regularly. Another tip is to spot wash your denims instead of washing the entire garment, which means that you save both water and energy.
WASHING THREAD
Wash your denims in and out of lukewarm water (temperature according to washing thread) together with similar colors, take them out of the washing machine as soon as they are ready and hang them to dry. Only tumble dry in exceptional cases to save on your jeans and the environment.
Choose the shortest washing program that suits depending on how dirty your pants are. Then you save water and it is often enough to get your jeans clean. We also recommend choosing a detergent with eco-labeling and that you do not overdose on the detergent. Skip the rinse aid aswell!
